I recently watched Angel-A, a film directed by Luc Besson and released in 2005.

I do not intend to write a review of the film, or even describe what it is about, the reason for mentioning it at all is simply that it is beautifully shot, entirely in black and white and just about every frame would make a stunning street photography shot. Well worth watching if only to study the camera angles and framing.

For those writers amongst you, I have just come across an interesting site that you might not have seen. It’s called Jottify and encourages authors to publish stories, poetry, screenplays and the like, inviting comments from other like minded people.

Have not made my mind up whether it’s actually useful yet but interesting nevertheless.
